Fire Truck Night

We met some friends up at Chic-fil-a (our home away from home) the other night for Fire Truck Night. Luckily Julie had her camera. It was one of those days that I was doing good to have remembered my wallet. Fun day, but you know what I'm talking about.

Cinco de Mud-o

This is a little out of order, but I forgot that Megan sent out pictures of this.

Anyway, we have had a neighborhood playgroup going with the same kiddos (and added lots more along the way) since Carter was about 9 months or so. It's really been fun to watch the kids grow up and to see the new ones who have joined us. I've written about this Thursday group before, so I won't rattle on.

Megan hosted the Thursday of Cinco de Mayo. She had a fabulous feast for everyone - fajitas, pastries, margaritas, the works! And sprinkler time for the kids, of course. We got there late, again - of course, but managed to make it for Round 2 of MudFest. Here are just a few pictures of Carter that Sonya took that afternoon. Laney stayed out of the dirt - thank the Lord!

I think sweet Elijah got the worst of it!! And he had already been bathed and dressed after the first round.
