Conversations with Carter: Warning... TMI

It's hard to predict when Carter will wake up these days, but on days I don't wake up to run, I try to take full advantage of sleep time. About a week or so ago, Carter woke up pretty early, so I made him get in "daddy's bed" (Joel was gone to Krav) to sleep a little longer. My alarm went off, and he quickly got out of bed and ran to my side to pull the covers off.

He then told me, "Time to wake up, mama." He handed me my bra and said, "Here, this is for your tatas."

WHAT? Seriously. I didn't believe that's what he said, so I made him clarify.

"Where does this go? What is it for?" And he pointed... correctly.

I am trying - with all my might - to think of ANYTHING else he could have said.

Joel swears he didn't teach him that, and I believe him. He actually looked a little embarrassed when I told him what Carter said.

Ha! That cracks me up! Savannah has been saying "boobies" since she was two! I don't know where she learned that either, well I have my suspicions (a.k.a. my sister)!! She still says it and laughs!!
