So these aren't my "ideal" first day pictures, but the kids were so excited I could hardly get them to stay still long enough for pictures. Anyway, they are at a new school this year and both really, really like it. They have made lots of new friends and have participated in some wonderful activities! The school suggested not sending them in anything necessarily "cute," so hence the play clothes. I'm glad, too, because they come home covered in the day's arts and crafts. C has the sweetest little friend at school whom he just adores - more pictures on that to follow. L's class has a blog, and she loves to look at the pictures and name all of her friends. She can even name the mommies! I feel like they have already changed so much since these pictures. Will be fun to compare last day pictures with these.
