Carter just finished is first season of t-ball with the YMCA. We were a little concerned after the first game, I'll be honest. It was chaos. Utter chaos. The coach was late. We didn't have uniforms. No one had a clue as to how to start. You get the idea. But... these boys really had fun and made drastic improvements as the season continued. There was the occasional meltdown, the mad-dash for the playgroup, even some daisy picking of course, but they did great! Hitting, throwing, fielding - big, big improvements from beginning to end.
We only ended up with 6 players, but that was better for us. The kids would get real antsy when we played big teams as EVERYONE had to take a turn at bat. Even the other teams' kids would lose interest! It was better with the smaller teams.
After the games, we would head to the playgroup. Not sure which Laney liked better - playing with the big boys or swinging at the playground. A toss up for sure.

Those are the cutest pics of him with the uniform on! They are huge!! I cannot wait for Blake to do this! The cheerleader sure is a cutie pie as well!!
