Zoobilee (April 8, 2011)

We ended our fun week (and fun day with the girls!) with a trip to the zoo for Zoobilee (special event for zoo members - aka: half of the city.) and an evening with the boys! These sweet boys have been in a neighborhood playgroup together since before they could crawl. It's been so fun to share fun events with them (and their families) and watch them grow)

They had critters out for the kids to pet.

"Mr. Kevin" was the tour guide until the rest of the daddies could join us. Not sure if this is exactly where it happened, but at one point, Andrew was standing on the rail and flipped over! Luckily he was ok. It was pretty acrobatic, actually! Don't think Mommy Sonya thought it was too funny!!

Monkey see, monkey do. Just like the big boys.

Love this picture!!

There aren't too many girls in our neighborhood gang. Sweet Jenna and Laney need to stick together!

Stopping for snacks - and there were pretty good ones!

Like the fake 'cheese' face? STILL?

Yeah for Daddy!

We had a great time with everyone. We stopped and had pizza by the rhinos (which was a tad scary the more we thought about it!). The boys played together all night. Any time Carter couldn't find them, he would get nervous and ask, "WHERE ARE MY FRIENDS?????" We were going to wait in line for the 'prize' at the end of the night, but the line was CRAZY long, so we opted for ice cream at home instead. It was a fun evening - and free! Look forward to next year!
